Table Of Plenty Mini Rice Cakes Berry Yoghurt Topped 6 pack

Is this one worth buying?

Table Of Plenty Mini Rice Cakes Berry Yoghurt Topped 6 pack is currently listed at $3.50 at Woolworths, against a usual price of $7.00. That is a useful saving on a regular purchase, though not on its own a reason to make a special trip.

Hard cheese and butter freeze well and are the two things worth buying extra of — butter in particular keeps for months in the freezer with no change in how it behaves. Yoghurt, cream and fresh dips do not freeze usefully. If you are buying discounted dairy, plan the meals that use it before you put it in the trolley, or it becomes an expensive way to fill the bin.

Half price specials at both Coles and Woolworths normally run for one week, from Wednesday to the following Tuesday, and the same lines tend to come back on promotion every couple of months. If you miss this one it will very likely return — but the price shown here is the current one, and prices can change without notice.
