Is this one worth buying?

My Dog Adult Classic Loaf Kangaroo Wet Food Tray 100g is currently listed at $0.90 at Woolworths, against a usual price of $1.80. The dollar saving is small, so treat it as something to add to a shop you were doing anyway rather than a deal to chase.

Bread freezes better than most people expect. A loaf frozen on the day of purchase and toasted straight from frozen is close to indistinguishable from fresh, which makes half price bread one of the easier things to buy two of. Wraps and pita freeze equally well. Anything with a cream or custard filling does not.

Half price specials at both Coles and Woolworths normally run for one week, from Wednesday to the following Tuesday, and the same lines tend to come back on promotion every couple of months. If you miss this one it will very likely return — but the price shown here is the current one, and prices can change without notice.
